Aminul Islam

Aminul (Amin) Islam, CPA, has 15+ years of experience providing auditing and complex accounting advisory services to a diverse range of public and private companies spanning multiple industries, including software, fintech, asset management and specialty finance companies. Prior to joining Weaver, Amin was a Director in the Technical Accounting Consulting group at RSM and a Senior Manager within CFGI’s Accounting Advisory Services group, where he advised companies on various technical accounting matters including IPO & SPAC transactions, SEC Reporting, Revenue Recognition (ASC 606), Leases (ASC 842) and other technical accounting topics. Previously, Amin was a manager at a Big Four firm where he led audit engagements in the Financial Services sector.

Amin is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA). He graduated with a master’s degree in accounting and a bachelor’s degree in economics and accounting from the University of Massachusetts-Amherst.
