Jason Massey

Jason Massey, CPA, has nine years of experience in public accounting, with a focus on assurance services within the alternative investment and financial services industries. He has extensive experience with a variety of entities with up to and over $1 billion in assets under management, including real estate, private equity funds, venture capital funds, hedge funds, broker-dealers, banks, public issuers, and upstream energy.

At Weaver, Jason also provides training surrounding complex accounting and reporting requirements for audit investment funds, including valuation methodology, financial reporting, accounting standards updates and market updates. Jason also has experience with real estate operators and the oil and gas industry, and works with clients subject to a large number of regulatory agencies including SEC, PCAOB, TDI, OCC, and FDIC. He holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting from William Jewell College.
