Joe Carranza, CPA, has extensive experience working with both mid-size and Fortune 500 companies, particularly in SOX/Internal Controls Over Financial Reporting (ICFR), external reporting, financial risk management and corporate governance. Joe has deep knowledge in various industries, with a specific focus on financial services, including property and casualty and life insurance, as well as investment funds. At Weaver, Joe assists with the development and training of our audit methodology firm wide.
Joe is a certified public accountant in the state of Texas. He earned his Master of Accountancy from the University of Texas at San Antonio and a bachelor’s in accounting from Texas Tech University.
