Stephen Patton

Stephen Patton, CPA, has more than 18 years of accounting and reporting experience, including various industry roles at large public and private oil and gas companies. He has extensive experience serving clients with domestic and international operations ranging from small private to multi-billion-dollar public companies. He has worked with SEC reporting his entire career, including reviewing and preparing SEC compliant financial statements for inclusion in public filings. Additionally, Stephen has focused on performing financial reporting activities for initial public offerings and various other debt and equity offerings. With his knowledge in performing technical accounting research and assisting clients with the documentation and implementation of new accounting standards, Stephen leads technical accounting engagements within Weaver’s Public Company Services practice and collaborates with partners across the firm to provide complementary accounting services to a broad range of clients.

Stephen is a member of the Texas Society of CPAs (TXCPA) and American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA). He graduated with a master’s degree and a bachelor’s degree in accounting from Texas A&M University.
