Paul Tarwater

Paul Tarwater, CPA, brings decades of experience as an assurance and risk management partner to his role as a quality and risk management partner for Weaver. During his 30 years at PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC), Paul delivered comprehensive commercial and operational insights to owners, boards and executives of private, public and nonprofit entities. He served as an assurance partner focused on leading financial statement audits and projects such as acquisition due diligence, fraud investigations, SEC filings and IPOs. In addition, Paul served as an assurance risk management partner, dealing with complicated and sensitive audit issues, client acceptance considerations, evaluations of accounting errors, fraud-related matters and assessments of materiality, among other quality and risk issues.

Paul is a CPA licensed in the state of Texas and a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Texas Society of Certified Public Accountants. He earned a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in accounting from Texas Tech University.
