Dale Jensen

Dale Jensen, CPA, has more than 17 years of experience in public accounting and previously served as the partner-in-charge of Weaver’s Public Company Audit and Oil and Gas practices. Dale remains on the forefront of industry regulations and changes. He has extensive experience providing assurance services within the industry, with a specific focus on the upstream and midstream sectors. In addition, he has in-depth knowledge of the nuances of public company audits. He provides consulting services to SEC registrants including implementation of new accounting standards, purchase price allocation, preparation of hedge documentation and review of required SEC filings. Dale’s diverse knowledge of industry standards and best practices allows him to provide high-quality, comprehensive consulting services to each of his clients.

Dale is a frequent author of articles for professional and business publications, providing valuable industry insights. He is a member of the Dallas Council of Petroleum Accountants and serves on the energy advisory board for the Institute of Petroleum Accounting. In addition, Dale is an active member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Texas Society of Certified Public Accountants. He graduated with a bachelor of business administration degree in accounting from Southern Arkansas University.
