Matt Anderson, CPA, is based in our Los Angeles office. He has more than 20 years of experience in public accounting, including experience in the financial services practice of Rothstein Kass (RK) (now, KPMG). He specializes in audit and accounting issues related to alternative investment companies with various investment strategies, including investment partnerships, domestic and offshore hedge funds, fund of funds, private equity and venture capital funds. He launched and was the partner in charge of RK’s Denver office from 2003 to 2009 and also worked in the capital markets practices of two Big Four firms.
He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), and California Society of CPAs (CalCPA). He is currently on the national board of Help for Children (HFC), a not-for-profit organization dedicated to the prevention and treatment of child abuse. He also founded the Denver chapter of HFC and chaired the Southern California chapter of HFC. Matt is a graduate of Binghamton University with a Bachelor of Science in Accounting.
