Brent Young

Brent Young, CPA, has more than 20 years of experience managing and performing audits. His career has focused on accounting and auditing for government and not-for-profit entities, including municipalities, school districts, water authorities and councils of governments. He has extensive experience with single audits and ACFR preparation for numerous government entities, having managed engagements for clients with net positions ranging from $11 million to $2.7 billion.

Brent is a member of the Texas Society of Certified Public Accountants (TXCPA) and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), the Government Finance Officers Association (GFOA) Special Review Committee and the Association of Water Board Directors (Texas). He graduated with both a masters and bachelor degree of science in accounting from the University of Texas at Dallas.
