As a Partner within the Energy Compliance Services team at Weaver, Evelyn Beebe, PE, has conducted Part 80 engineering reviews and performed mass and energy balances for biogas, biodiesel, renewable diesel, renewable jet, naphtha, and ethanol production facilities. She is an accredited Lead Verifier under the California Air Resources Board (CARB) Low Carbon Fuel Standard (LCFS) and under Oregon’s Clean Fuels Program. Evelyn also oversees Weaver’s Virtual Office. Evelyn has technical sales experience with a multi-national industrial gas producer in which she led process improvement projects across a variety of sectors, including plastics, automotive, refineries, mines, aquaculture, wastewater treatment plants, terminals, and oil & gas pipelines, while specializing in liquefied natural gas. Evelyn also has performed pulp and paper research and development in both laboratory and pilot plant settings for academia, as well as with a Fortune 500 chemical manufacturer.
A Professional Engineer, Evelyn is a member of the American Institute of Chemical Engineers (AIChE) and President of the Maine Society of Women Engineers (SWE). She has served in leadership positions in both societies for over a decade. Evelyn earned a Bachelor of Science in chemical engineering with minors in renewable energy engineering and mathematics from the University of Maine as well as a Master of Science in energy science, technology, and policy from Carnegie Mellon University.
