Kerri D. Franz

Kerri D. Franz, CPA, has more than 25 years of experience in public accounting which has provided her with extensive knowledge of accounting and technical reporting standards, as well as experience with financial audits in various industries, tax and accounting services. She has spent the last 15 years practicing in employee benefit plan audits for a variety of industries, including several Fortune 500/1000 companies that sponsor multiple plans with plan assets in excess of $3 billion. For the past seven years, Kerri has helped lead Weaver’s employee benefit plan practice, growing it significantly in our Texas markets and nation-wide.

In addition to being a certified public accountant, Kerri holds memberships with the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), the Houston chapter of the Texas Society of Certified Public Accountants (TXCPA), AICPA’s Employee Benefit Plan Audit Quality Center (EBPAQC), Southwest Benefits Association (SWBA) and Houston Compensation & Benefits (HC&B). She is also currently serving as a board member of HC&B. She graduated cum laude with a Bachelor of Business Administration in accounting from St. Edward’s University in Austin, Texas.
