As a managing director in Weaver’s real estate practice, Richard (Rick) Edwards leads the firm’s valuations of a wide range of real estate assets for all purposes, from financing to mergers to financial reporting. Rick has more than 20 years of real estate valuation and consulting experience involving properties around the globe, from resorts in Barbados to properties across Europe, South America and India. He provides valuation analysis for financial reporting, trust & estate, portfolio valuation, fairness opinions for M&A, and favorable/unfavorable lease analyses.
Rick earned a Bachelor of Science degree in finance from Missouri State University. He is an associate member and a candidate for Member (MAI) designation in the Appraisal Institute and is also licensed as a certified general estate appraiser.
