Steve Schwarzbach

Steve L. Schwarzbach, CPA, has more than 25 years of experience in the energy industry, including public accounting, consulting and corporate accounting. Additionally, he has advisory experience in start-up operations, merger integration, carve-out planning and support for clients in the energy industry.

Steve’s focus is accounting, reporting, auditing and consulting for the petroleum and renewable fuel industries. With specialized experience in performing agreed-upon procedures and quality assurance plan (QAP) audits administered by the Environmental Protection Agency under the US Code of Federal Regulations, conducting examinations as required by Environment Canada under Canada’s Renewable Fuel Regulations, leading and serving as an independent reviewer for verifications under the California Air Resources Board’s Low Carbon Fuel Standard, and advising on compliance related to several US and Canadian gasoline, diesel, and renewable fuels regulations, Steve brings comprehensive technical skills to each of his clients.

Steve is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and the Texas Society of Certified Public Accountants (TXCPA). He earned a bachelor of business administration degree in accounting from the University of Texas at Austin and a master of business administration from Rice University
