Tim Follett

Tim Follett, CPA, CGMA, has more than 20 years of experience in public accounting, specifically in assurance services, including more than 10 years serving in leadership roles. Tim is a partner in Weaver’s quality and risk management group. He has extensive experience developing tools, resources, guidance, policies and processes associated with firm compliance, risk management, administration and operations. He also has extensive experience serving as a firm liaison for external quality reviews, such as the Public Company Accounting Oversight Board, the Canadian Public Accountability Board, the Department of Labor, International Network and firm peer reviewers.

Tim is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Kansas Society of Certified Public Accountants. He graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in accounting from the University of Missouri – Kansas City. Tim is a recurring author of the AICPA Management of Accounting Practice (MAP) Handbook and recurring speaker at the University of Missouri – Kansas City, Henry W. Bloch School of Management.
