IBM Announces $5 Million In-Kind Grant Program to Combat Cybersecurity Threats

IBM has announced in-kind grants valued at $5 million to address cybersecurity in schools worldwide. School districts can apply online before June 21, 2022.
Six school districts in the United States will receive grants to sponsor IBM Service Corps teams to help districts proactively prepare for and respond to cyber threats with incident response plans, ransomware playbooks, updating technology, cybersecurity training for school communities, and more.
The grants will focus on the need to establish programs that help address cybersecurity resiliency in schools, including against ransomware.
In 2021, IBM awarded six grants to the following school districts to help strengthen cybersecurity:
